Machines don’t last

I bought the Vertuo Next last July and a little over a year and a half the Vertuo has already died on me. This is my second Nespresso with a short shelflife, therefore I am breaking up with them.
I am a one cup a day kind of gal and a coffee machine of this caliber should last more than a year. Sorry Nespresso I love your coffee, but your machines just can’t handle it. I’m done!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new nespresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it so far. I will say it is a little louder than my old coffee maker but I can over look it when the results are this good.

Bad machine - don't buy!

This machine is just simply. bad. I've had it for a little more than a year, already had a replacement, and it still does not work. It requires tons of attention, and every time it breaks due to a new issue. I spend more time on the phone with the support than I do drinking coffee. My brother has the same machine, and, alas, he has issues all the time. I had the original machine for years, and never had problems with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy

First one went out right before warranty ran out. They sent
E a refurnished machine and now having the same issue. I had my Keruig for longer and this one cost way more. Highly disappointed.

Nice machine but not user friendly

I got this machine Vertuo Next given to me 11/2022. The previous owner had no room on her kitchen counter. So she gave it to me. It had been sitting for a while. So I got the instructions for descaling (as it had not been done in a long while. I was concerned about this since another brand of coffee maker died after descaling recently for me) But I got it to complete and had a great time making nice coffees of all sizes.
This year for some reason it stopped working. The machine was on capsule ready. The machine was running but the water was not flowing. I searched out some remedies for a possible air bubble inside. Nothing worked.
Then I went to the web site and looked for a remedy and printed off the instructions for a number of things.
What caught my eye was to drain the machine to prevent freezing or repair. Well I followed the instructions for that and guess what. The dirty water flowed into my container. I repeated to process then proceeded to do a descaling. However that sequence was a little more complicated and did not finish. So I did the empty water to finish removing the descaling solution.
Then I rinsed and re ran the clean water. Once that was done . I next place a coffee capsule in place and had a perfect cup of coffee. It worked the machine moved the water through the machine again.
My machine is older and does not have the bluetooth. I am happy that I can now have nice coffee. Since I have just recently refilled my stock.

Favorite morning coffee

My ex-husband was a coffee nerd. He handcrafted pour-overs like a fastidious scientist in a lab. He favored the coffees that tasted like twigs and pears and I favored chocolate notes. He retrofitted our foodie Fellow coffee grinder with an even better blade so the whole grinder cost as much as a car payment. A really nice car payment. I’m so over it. I’m so over him. So, pulling shots in my espresso maker lost its luster when my whole life became hustle to get out the door while running my busy, newly single life and caring for my family. Enter the Nespresso Vertuo Next: Tasty. Fast. Foamy crema. Beautiful design. Efficient. Literally, screw pretentious coffee culture. Good-bye to the self-obsessed narcissistic pursuit of being the most interesting man in the room because you like coffee that tastes like apricot pits and gravel and it takes a chemistry lab and half an hour to make one cup of coffee. The Nespresso works for my new peaceful life of freedom and pleasure. It’s easy and lovely and the coffee tastes great. Actually, I gave up caffeine to regulate my cortisol after the year of divorce process so the decaf pods are perfect. I choose me. I choose peace. I choose liberation of everything from my time to my mind to my pleasure. Thank you, Nespresso.
