I’ve been a Nespresso user for about five years and from the beginning I’ve always had a Vertuo Next And have always liked the features that it had with a variety of cup sizes Because I drink a lot of regular coffee and espresso, But the Next model Despite its good looks and features had quality problems and I had a lot of Issues and had to return the machine three or four times so I decided to upgrade to the Vertuo plus deluxe And I absolutely love it. It makes great regular coffee and espresso with a nice thick creama. It’s fast, quiet, heats up really fast and I especially love the 60 ounce water tank, larger pod receptacle and the automatic pod dispenser and I really like that It’s about 15° hotter than the Next. I haven’t had to decalcify it yet, but looking at the instructions, it’s a lot easier than the Next model. I haven’t had it too long so I can’t speak to the durability of it but so far I’m very happy with it. I like the way it looks With a manageable sized footprint. Very happy with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My niece had a Nespresso machine and she made me a dupe of a Starbucks drink. It was so delicious that I had her take me right away to the Nespresso store and I bought myself a machine. I purchased the Virtuo Machine with the 40 ounce water dispenser and the cord that you can position both. I make myself a fancy drink every morning. I have found a number of Starbucks dupes that I love. I save myself a lot of money by making them myself. I am unbelievably happy with my purchase. My husband and I moved to Arizona and are living in a hotel until we close on our house. My Nespresso machine is set up and ready to go so I can have my fancy drink every morning.

Received this machine as a gift. It got me through some 2-3 years, but the maintenance is especially demanding for this model. Constant issues with barcodes, needs descaling every minute. Called support and even they couldn't crack the issue after a VIDEO chat. Buy a different model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor design

My old vertuo machine broke and I chose this machine as a replacement. However this model design is horrible with the water container in the back of the machine. You have to completely pull the machine out from the wall to add water. And while it touts being “thin” it is way too deep for the counter and sticks out from my other machines. . I returned, huge disappointment. Would love to get my first vertuo machine back but it does not accommodate the larger pods.

Broke after 17 months

Mine broke after 17 months. The machine is very loud and the pods get to be expensive. Plus having to replace the machine out of warranty. Doesn't make sense.
