Great When It Works

I haven't had this a year and it was fine at first, went from working sporadically to not working at all. I've descaled it, cleaned it, tried to reset it , and now it just doesn't work at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOUD AND MAKES TOOOOO MUCH FOAM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought this 2 weeks ago… not happy!!! The first machine I ever received was Great!! , wasn’t very loud, made great coffee ( not an over abundance of “foam”, and was just awesome. Move on to 3 replacements ( thank you , but NO thank you ) which were refurbished replacements… horrible!!! Loud and leaky ! So I decided to buy another, because I do love the coffee. Now I am stuck with a Very loud machine that makes sooo much foam that I have to change cups!!! I don’t get it!!! Not very happy!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not last.

I bought this about a year ago. In the beginning it was great. But as soon as the year mark hit, even with the proper care, it stopped reading the capsules. I've wasted SO many capsules trying to make a single cup of coffee.

Not a great model, disappointed

It's really frustrating, you know? I've been using my Vertuo Next, treating it with care each day. However, after just five months, it's been acting up on me from time to time. Sometimes it just won't start, causing so much hassle. And I'm a huge fan of Nespresso, but this machine has been a letdown. I can't help but feel disappointed. I wish I'd gone with another model. It's just not right that it's giving me so much trouble when it hasn't even been a year.

Love my machine, won’t brew alto pods

This is my 3rd vertuo plus. I sold my first one because back then. I couldn’t afford the pods. I bought my second one used, and it was a good machine, but it leaked occasionally. I got rid of it last summer because we were going to travel the country in a travel trailer, and my hubs doesn’t like good cofee, so we kept the keurig. Now we are home, and he bought me a new machine. It’s great, except for one thing. My first two machines brewer alto 12 oz) capsules. This one will not 😕 sometimes, when I need a cup to go, I want more than a mouthful…
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flying machine spring

I purchased this machine not even a year ago and the machine surprised up by almost exploiting out the machine spring along with the pod insert across my kitchen. I do not recommend this machine to anyone looking for a long lasting machine.

Do NOT recommend! Latch stuck closed

The top latchwould stick making the machine unusable. I chatted with support who set up a video call with me and offered 35% off a new machine, which is ridiculous. I could probably find one cheaper than that offer. I have about 50 plus pods that are now useless because the machine is stuck shut. The machine isn't that old for the price point it should last much longer.

Amazing features, brews great coffee

I’m so happy I ordered my Nespresso Vertuo over ordering another Keurig. This machine brews my coffee precisely according to the capsule I use. The coffee is hot, fresh and has a great depth of flavor. I love the auto open and auto eject feature. The capsule ejects into a reservoir bin and you can empty this bin and recycle the capsules. This is a big deal because I recycle everything can. It’s amazing how many different Nespresso Vertuo capsules you can choose from! I can make espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, regular 8 oz. cups of coffee. Starbucks?! Who needs them any more? My only complaint is that it’s a little loud while brewing but I’ve already gotten used to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
