Used to be great but stopped working properly

We were very happy with this machine but 1yr and half later it's malfunctioning. It's now very loud when it's running even after multiple descaling. Also at times it just stops working properly and it runs with no coffee being poured/brewed. And it only works after unplug/plug which ends up waisting ex non expensive pods

Great coffe when it worked!

I have owned a Vertuo for a year. It no longer works for some reason. I have done all the troubleshooting ideas to no avail. I am very disappointed!

Horrible machine

I would have selected 0 out of 5 stars. I followed all instructions and it didn’t produce not 1 cup of coffee but instead leaked all over. I returned it the next day and apparently this happens a lot with the Next according to the rep at the store. Wish that information was disclosed to me when I made the purchase but nonetheless I’ll go with 1 star because this machine was aesthetically pleasing. I had the rose gold and black and matched my kitchen perfectly. In 6 years I’ve never had 1 problem with my Keurig. I love Nespresso coffee but really hesitant to purchase another machine.

Died right after warranty ends

I purchased this machine 15 months ago. It’s used once per day. This morning it died. Nespresso offered me the 35% discount, but everything in their website is 30% off. Reading today, I see that many other individuals who purchased machines at the same time as me had this issue. Won’t purchase this machine again, but will co aider others.

Avoid this model

4th replacement just broke down again, despite me following all the instructions for usage and cleaning! I'm not surprised they came up with RELOVE spin, since these break so easily!
Now I need to buy a new machine since it's finally out of warranty, and machine barcode reader can't be fixed! They offered me a 30% discount on my next machine, but I'd rather have a better product!
I'm a big fan of Nespresso and will continue on my coffee journey but will definitely opt for a different machine!

We understand your last in-warranty replacement VertuoNext machine was issued in October 2022. The replacement comes with a 6-month warranty. At this time since it is out-of-warranty the out-of-warranty options available are to either submit the machine for repair for a flat fee of $65.00, we provide the box and label, or you may choose to redeem an out-of-warranty discount of 35% off towards the purchase of a new machine. Unhappy with the Vertuo Next

Purchased the Vertuo Next in June 2022 and it stopped working today, after less than 2 years of use. I tried all the fixes with no success. Very disappointed in this model. I had the original Vertuo machine for many years with no problems, still worked when I gave it away after purchasing this more compact Vertuo Next. Wish I still had the original model...:(

Good brew; not so good operation

I bought the VertuoNext 6 months ago as an upgrade to my Keurig and have used it daily since then. While I prefer the Nespresso brews, smooth operation of the Vertuo Next is inconsistent. What I have learned in 6 months:
First, I have also experienced the unexplained leaking from the bottom of the machine Most of the time, the VertuoNext works fine. However, it randomly deposits large amounts of water on the counter. I’ve had this happen around once/month. Because I don’t see it at first, it’s difficult to troubleshoot the cause in all cases. One time the used pod dispenser filled with brewed coffee to the point of overflowing onto the counter. This happened when I used a damaged pod but bent the rim back in place as Nespresso recommended. Don’t use damaged pods at all.
Second, I selected the VertuoNext because of the combination of variety in brew sizes and the water reservoir size. I’m finding that we don’t use the larger brew sizes as originally anticipated and stick to 8 oz coffee or smaller. Even with the coffee size, we are refilling the water reservoir frequently - generally after 3 brew cycles because we don’t want the reservoir to run dry mid-brew. Letting the reservoir to run dry mid-brew upsets the programming and has resulted in inaccurate amounts of water in the next brew cycle and potentially another cause of water on the counter.
Lastly, closing the lid is a two handed operation to get adequate pressure to pierce the pod and lock the lid properly. Not a show stopper but you have to pay attention to make sure it is done correctly or face the blinking red error light.
The VertuoNext brews decent coffee and espressos. However, in hindsight, I wish I had heeded the other reviews and gone with the machine with the automatic lid, larger reservoir and fewer reported issues.

Works great until it doesn't

I love this machine, makes great coffee. Hard to live without once you get used to it. The problem is that it doesn't last long at all. Lots of ways that the machine call malfunction. Different parts get clogged, etc. Then it's useless. Our original was replaced less than a year ago and now the new one is broken. From my attempt at online troubleshooting, I can tell I'm not alone. Lots of orange light errors and customers who are very unhappy with the reliability. Purchasing a new model...fingers crossed.

We recommend filling your water tank with hot tap water (as hot as you can get it, just not boiling) and set it back on the machine. Let it sit for 30-45 minutes, and then run a priming cycle (first use cycle). We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
