Nespresso Broke my Starbucks Addiction!

I bought my Vertuo Plus Deluxe in November 2021. I purchased it after visiting my grand babies. Their mother had a Vertuo Next machine. I'm a coffee snob that always begins my day at Starbucks. At home, I had a drip machine. At work, I made my own Vietnamese coffee with a French press because my employer provided Kureg...
Imagine my skepticism when my daughter-in-law offered me a latte! I was floored by the richness of the flavor! For my second cup, she showed me how to make my own. I whipped out my smartphone and watched learned about Nespresso machines via YouTube. A couple of hours later I purchased my machine. I haven't had any problems with it. I use it daily. I flush it once a month and so far haven't had to descale it.

Bought A Second Time!

I bought my first machine back in October of 2021, I donated my well-loved machine to my last job and re-ordered the same machine because I just loved it so much! I am excited to be saving money, while still having amazing, made at home coffee! I love how the coffee scent fills my home. Love starting my days with my Nespresso :)

Don’t waste your money!

I purchased this machine from a recommendation by my boss. Never should have wasted my money. The only way to use the over priced pods is to run it in the descale mode and just open it when the coffee starts looking watery. I’ve followed every possible troubleshooting thing listed on line and in the book. What a complete joke! Thank goodness I kept my K-cup!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working

Stopped reading pods. Went through troubleshooting and it could not be resolved. Part of troubleshooting asked me to connect to the machine through the app. Machine is not compatible with Android. Poor software management/backwards compatibility. Offered 35% off for a new machine but not sure I will get one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Nespresso VertuoPlus! It is such an easy way to make an elevated morning cup of coffee- and the design is so sleek. I had my last one for 5+ years before it showed any signs of wear. The coffee pod selection is huge and has something for everyone.

I love it, I've had it for more than 2 years. Only a couple of problems (both remedied w cleaning and descaling). LSS. IT STILL WORKS GREAT. I would recommend it over all the others W/2 exceptions but the price difference is considerably higher on the other 2...

Coffee is amazing but the reservoir needs work

Amazing coffee choices, quick, easy to use. However I noticed my reservoir gets moldy. I wash it every other day now because of this. At first when I noticed a weird film at the bottom I thought interesting how long has that been there and I cleaned it with dawn. Then a few days later I check again and I noticed more of the bacterial film/mold showing. Of course the water smells like a funky mold smell as well. But for me I can’t wash this reservoir every day look at the mold and then try to make a latte afterwards. It just totally turns me off to wanting to make a coffee. I literally switched to instant powdered coffee now because I feel like there’s no reason for me to drink mold. I have had my machine for almost two years so maybe it’s just time to buy a newer one?

Thanks for your honest review, Lulu! We would recommend emptying out the capsule container after every use to avoid the buildup of mold. A closed environment high in moisture and temperature will also speed up the mold formation process. It’s recommended to clean your machine, or run a rinse cycle weekly with fresh water, and descale with Nespresso Descaling Solution every three months or 300 capsules. This helps remove mineral deposits that build up in your machine and effect the pour and flavor of your coffee. good coffee, poorly made

This is not a great product. While it makes fantastic coffee, it is very poorly engineered. It very often does not work properly.
The main issue is that it will suddenly not brew on a given morning.
I have no problem following the descaling instructions but why, why, why not just have a descaling button?
