The first one to arrive was broken and it made a weird sound, but after contacting Nespresso they sent one out immediately to replace it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leakage in 1 year! Wow!

If you want to spend the +$$$ for a great coffee machine that will last 1 year only (before it becomes completely unusable) then this is the coffee machine for you!
the best feature is how coffee begins to spill out the back making a huge mess and wasting a good portion of your coffee. The best part is, they will charge you 150$ to repair it or a small discount to buy a new 1 year coffee machine! how lovely!
I would recommend this to everyone I hate :)

NOT PART OF ANY PROMOTION!! Bought this machine and it was faulty!! I had been using my friend's Nespresso machine throughout my undergrad and I was so excited when I bought one. I did not even get to make one cup of coffee! No water comes out! I spent over 1.5 hours with Nespresso technical support to try and troubleshoot the problem. I do NOT recommend getting a Nespresso machine - not this one and definitely not the Vertuo Next (leaks water!!) To think I have been recommending all my friends to get a Nespresso machine. Nespresso lost me as a customer.
WARNING! You must also sign up to become a Nespresso Club Member (free) in order to receive any type of support and it takes approx. 30 mins to become activated!

Does what it's intended to. Only criticism is the chrome cup rest. It sits loosely and isn't the most stable base for larger mugs or cups. It should be redesigned to lock in properly.

Machine was not working well. Certain cups were very light no taste in Coffee. It was also leaking at times.
