Broke within 3 months

I’ve had my verturo next for 3 months and it no longer works. It’s slowly been breaking every time I use up but it’s always worked to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it. I’ve tried descaling, cleaning the entire thing, and troubleshot everything I could with the manual. While I was trying to clean it tonight it started leaking water from the bottom and filled up the basin inside. For as much as these cost they’re an absolute waste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Second machine to break!

This is our second machine and the second one just stopped working like the first one. We clean it regularly. We did the descaling and everything and it’s only a year old! We love it and the coffee it makes but the last two have not lasted.

We've had it for 18 months, hasn't worked well from the beginning, have descaled it regularly. On the 5th try it might work. It fires up but doesn't brew the coffee. I tried it 15 times today and threw it in the garbage. It has this many 1 ratings for a reason. Nespresso doesn't care either, I've tried to call.

Frustrating and high maintenance machine!!!

I was given this machine as a gift only two years ago and I was so excited. Unfortunately, it stopped reading the capsules only a few months after owning it. I had to jump through multiple hoops to get to working again (rinse, factory reset, unplug, wipe down, sing to it, etc.). Over the past two years this issue happened every few weeks. I was meticulous about cleaning, descaling, and keeping software up to date. When it works it’s great but it is the most frustrating machine I have ever owned. I had to call support twice. The last time they were very unhelpful and wanted me to use a brand new capsule to brew to troubleshoot (sure I’ll throw more money in the trash!). Before this machine, I had a Keurig for 12 years without issue! I’ll be going back to Keurig.

Great Coffee, Machine Leaks

I love Nespresso and have had this machine for a year. It started leaking during the brew though after I had it for only a year. In an 8 oz cup, about an ounce of it leaks all over my table, which has messed up the wood. Like I said, it's a fantastic cup of coffee. I wish the machine was more durable.

Bought this for myself after getting rid of my Keurig. This makes the best cup of coffee/espresso. Puts the Keurig to Absolute shame. I would highly recommend this Nespresso machine.

Great machine

I have been using the Nespresso machines since 2003. Have had many different models and have been pleased with all. When I travel I take Essenza Mini Nespresso machines with me. I currently have both type capsule machines in my kitchen. Both of my kids were given a Vertuo machine to take to college and they use it everyday. We are all using the Nespresso machine made by Breville now and could not be happier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great coffee...BUT it doesn't last!!!!

Machine lasted a little over a year. It makes by far the best tasting coffee!!! My wife and I love this product; however, our beloved machine only lasted for a little over a year. :(
