Great coffee. Terrible quality control.

I've had four Vertuo Next machines. I use the Next because it will takes the large capsules. All of them made great coffee. But each has failed within a year of purchase or exchange. When I tired of refurbished units, I just bought one again. IT LEAKS WATER all over the counter unless I pour in water just before brewing. The lever used to open and close the machine worked effortlessly at first. But within a few months it became harder and harder to move to the point now where I have to force it. VERY UNHAPPY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the hype

When this machine actually works, it's great. But it has not lived up to the hype. Haven't even had it 2 years and there have already been so many issues. Leaking coffee, blinking red, constantly running it through clean cycles, etc. I have gone through the steps with Nespresso to try and fix the issues, we have reset it, descaled it and it still isn't consistently brewing coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT PURCHASE

This was my second purchase of the same machine. My first machine stopped working after a year and a half. And I was offered a small discount on my next purchase or I could send it in to have it fixed and I had to pay a fee. So I purchased another one and a year and a half in, same thing happened. I was given the same recommendations and at that point I gave up. I do NOT recommend this machine. I am beyond frustrated with both of my experiences purchasing this product.

Not Recognizing any pods

This was my second vertuo next the first one lasted about 3 years this one about 16 months. From reading recent reviews it sounds like I am not the only person that had this issue, in the last few days. My machine stopped recognizing any pods. I noticed in the app it says my machine needs a firmware update, could this be connected to the issues it sounds like a number of people are experiencing????

Waste of money

Machine stopped working after a year. Two red flashing lights is their version of red ring of death.

Amazing machine! Amazing espresso! This is the essential what I need then I can add sugar milk and all kinds of condiments to make different types of coffees. It’s durable and so easy to clean! It brews super quick and good consistency

Opening & Closing Reason not to Buy Again

I have had my machine two years. It makes very good coffee and I use it once or twice a day. It is very clean and we do not have hard water so descaling is not an issue. It performs as expected except for the opening and closing mechanics. At first, it opened and closed smoothly with little effort. For the second year, it has gradually become harder to close to the point where it is a real struggle requiring a lot of hand strength. I will not buy another Next when this one is impossible for me to open and close, even though I love the coffee. I wish there was a fix for this problem.

All machines come with at least a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting assistance.
