Do Your Research! Get a Plus

We replaced our Vertuo with a Vertuo Next 1 week ago. This thing is a piece of junk. The machine in manual, its loud, it leaks, the coffee comes out luke warm if it comes out at all. What a scam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To ensure optimal use of your machine, we recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Obsessed! Slim size and dual capacity

I bought this to replace an Insta pot dual brew. It was a learning curve changing to the vertuo pods and how to reuse them. But my goodness. I brag to my coffee loving family every day, that I am drinking superior espresso and coffee compared to their crap. I love a good black cup of coffee. The Columbia pods and this machine were sent from heaven. Same with using my Starbucks espresso pods. I see some people having trouble with life span. I'm only three weeks in so I can't debate on that. As far as I am concerned this machine is a goldmine!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't waste your money.

Had erratic problems with this machine since purchase. Works fine for afew days, then not at all. Finally to the point it doesn't work at all. Lights blink...followed direction and reset to factory settings which worked a couple times, but no more. Was pricey for a few weeks of good coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad Model

I bought this machine about 8 months ago. It functioned perfectly fine for most of that time, but like others, I recently started to experience problems with the model. Failed to pump water, loud start, orange light - all of this sporadically for a couple weeks until it finally broke outright today. The coffee was always tasty, but this model was a huge disappointment. I am taking the advice from others on here and purchasing a Verturo Plus to replace it. Skip this janky model and pay a bit extra for a better machine.

Great coffee but...

I bought this machine 8 months ago and have had problems with it prior to today. But today it completely stopped brewing and kept throwing errors even after descaling, and doing a factory reset. My machine is completely clean but broke for unknown reasons. I would avoid the vertuo next at all costs.

Coffee tasted like burnt plastic!

I bought this machine, and the coffee tasted like burnt plastic. I tried replacing the machine several times, and all machines had the same issue - the coffee tasted like burnt plastic. It's sad because none of their older Virtuo machines had this problem, but this is clearly a problem with the Virtuo machines now. I would strongly recommend not buying any of these machines until Nespresso has resolved this problem. Sincerely, a Nespresso customer for over 15 years.

DO NOT BUY! THIS THING DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS CURRENTLY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS MACHINE FOR BEING DEFECTIVE, LOOK IT UP. This machine as done nothing but waste pods, ruin mornings, and deepen my disgust towards Nestle as a company
