Bad quality - doesn't last

I had this machine replaced after 1 year - and Nespresso sent me a new machine as it was under warranty. I have now had this machine for 2 years - and suddenly doesn't work. I descale and clean regularly. This model of machine is a piece of crap. So frustrating the amount of times I have had to troubleshoot these machines, and the amount of money spent and they still don't work or last!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tasty coffee

Love mine, love the drinks, only down fall is my leaks water from the bottom of the machine. They won’t replace it which is disappointing only had it for a few months. Called customer service and I can send it in to be worked on and would take over 3 weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ugh!

I bought this not even a year ago and it’s giving me issues. It makes a mound noise and feels shaky.

Don't waste your money

We bought this machine just a little over a year ago and now it's not working. Nespresso says there's a known issue with the censor (which is needed to read the pod) going bad. I would not recommend wasting your money on a machine that you might get a year out of.

We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. I've gone through two of the Vertuo Next machines at this point. My first machine began diminishing in quality when the head would get stuck when locking and unlocking, then began making very loud noises when running. Now my replacement machine is acting up as well. It's a toss up on whether or not the machine will register my pod when it's in the holder, which has caused me to waste multiple pods (not to mention it's just really annoying). It's also beginning to make weird noises when it runs.

If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we have repair and replacement options available via our Assistance Service Program, even when your machine is out of warranty. We recommend calling us at your convenience to troubleshoot your machine with a machine expert. If a replacement is necessary, you may ask for a different Vertuo model. We bought 2 of these over the past 3 years and they consistently break- conveniently always after the one year warranty but before 2 years of use. Obviously some flaw in the design since ours will always start leaking somewhere. And then to make up for it- Nespresso gives you a 35% discount which… surprise… you can only use on 3 of their machines including this hunk of junk.

Not a good machine

Great when it worked, but broke after 2 years. For the amount of money we have spent on the machine and pods.. stay away!!

Kind of a bummer

Bought this two months ago, does not work consistently. Often the coffee pours down around the edge into the waste bucket, other times it does not brew and gives red error light. Seems like it should be easier to close with a single motion.
