Do not purchase

When we first got this, we loved it. Best thing ever!! Could never go back to any other. We’ve descaled it and it won’t do the rinse cycle. Has the red ring. This is so disappointing. You have to send it to them for two weeks while they “repair” and most likely send you a refurbished machine. Will not recommend to anyone. Have to go back to my no fail Keurig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Machine 3 months old never worked

Machine never worked 3 months old warranty is one year. I would like to exchange for a working machine. NESPRESSO DOESN'T HONOR THE WARRANTY

Breaks after a year

Started leaking coffee out of the back at just over a year. Of course that’s how long their warranty is for, told me I could buy a new one.

Bad cup tray design

Nice quiet machine with large water tank. Huge problem with machine design is the convex cup holding tray. Even Nespresso's own cappuccino cups will not stay on tray and vibrate off due to shape of machine in cup area. Disastrous when cup is filling with coffee and crashes all over your kitchen!

I received this as a gift for Christmas. I hadn't even used it for a month before the button stopped responding. I sent it off to get repaired and it's still not working and won't even turn on or brew anything.

I'm very annoyed that this company doesn't openly discuss how many different manufactures make this coffee machine with the name "vertuo." Most reusable capsules are made for the Delonghi manufactured machine. Pods are too expensive and wasteful, I didn't receive a recycling bag either.

AVOID FLAT TOP VERSION

While flat top looks nice, but they are 100% inferior to the rounded top versions. This is our 3rd machine from Nespresso but the only one we felt we need to return right away. I actually thought it came broken because the lid felt so loose and lifted so much when "closed" (approx 1/2 inch to 1 inch on ONE SIDE ONLY). They told me it was "normal" to lift like that BRAND NEW and I shouldn't be touching the top anyways. The older, rounded version doesn't feel loose like that and top doesn't wobble when touched. It also doesn't feel like it'd break if a pod is dropped on it. Nespresso won't cover return because it's not "broken" and requires a video chat. I also tested the machine against an older one and this new one definitely does not pass the test, it's watery and does not give the same foamy consistency.

I’ve had this less than a year and it leaks water from the base. Took several calls before I had someone agree to repair it.
