Don’t Expect it to Work Very Long

This machine quit working within 6 months of buying it. My wife and I left our Keurig out beside it and only used it when we wanted a special cup of coffee because the pods you have to buy for it are so expensive. The coffee is fantastic but the machine is garbage. I wish I’d read all the reviews before purchasing. Do yourself a favor a buy a legit machine that does it all. You will save money in the long run.

Delicious coffee / disposable machine

I have owned 2 of this machine. It clogs and leaks after about a year. I replaced it thinking “maybe I could have cleaned it more frequently”? Second machine I kept pristine. Same issue after about a year.
I guarantee when your vertuo fails it will be right after you buy a case of pods.

Started leaking water within 3 days.

I got this machine delivered on Friday, used it two times over the weekend and on Sunday the water started leaking from under the machine not near the water tank… under the machine. I tried making a cup of coffee just to see what would happen (&tbh because I needed coffee) & the water just started to leak faster.
I called customer service and they’re replacing it, will update my review then.

Broken already

Why do many “free product “ reviews at top?

I love It but am wondering why so many of the reviews say it was a “free product”. That doesn’t seem fair and I would also think this would lead to biased reviews. How do I get on the “free machine in return for a review” bandwagon?

Was good until it wasn’t

Bought this machine 7/1/24 Returning it today, 7/28/24 It was great until it wasn’t. Quit working in less than 30 days. Called the help line( someone answered at 5:30am on on sat !) and after 30 min of troubleshooting they determined we needed a new machine. They offered to send us a new one but will be going into Nespresso store today to get a different model

Nespresso, you KNOW this machine is garbage.

’m extremely disappointed with this Nespresso machine. After only 13 months of light use (about 1 cup per day), it completely stopped working. I took great care of it, regularly cleaning and descaling it, so it wasn’t neglected. Out of the blue, the motor just broke, and now I’m stuck with 50 pods I can’t use. Given how short the lifespan was, I won’t be buying another Nespresso machine again. Very frustrating experience.
FYI - cleaning this machine was a real chore. It was near impossible to thoroughly clean the top (where the spikes are). If you don't keep this near spotless, the residue from the coffee accumulates and makes the top difficult to open and close. Additionally, there are some small gaps in the machine and coffee somehow gets into these crevices and just sits. When you tip the machine to clean it (water reservoir and empty pod holder both removed), coffee drains all over. My machine would drain old coffee OUT of the water reservoir intake. Disgusting.

First one lasted 3 years, second lasted under 2. Simply not a reliable machine and Nespresso doesn’t stand behind it as well as they should.
