Leaking everywhere after 3 days of usage.

I was super excited to get my first Nespresso machine after hearing everyone rave about it. It worked fine for the first day then the next three days, I wake up to find my counter covered in water leaking from the machine. When i went to move the machine to clean up the mess, water was streaming out of the machine making an even bigger mess. Not to mention twice, the light on top of the machine kept blinking green and will not brew any coffee. It then took another 10 minutes fidgeting around before it would brew a cup. Honestly, for the price, I was hoping for better quality than this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Five stars when it worked

I bought my machine about 1.5 years ago. It worked great, and I have cleaned and descaled regularly. For the past few months I have been disappointed by the coffee. It does not taste like it did before. Every pod I use tastes the same (burnt) and I am frustrated every time I drink it (which is daily). The only difference I can sense in the machine is a slightly increased loudness during brewing. I assume that it is not centrifuging properly and is therefore ruining the subtle coffee flavors. I loved the Veruto coffee before but certainly don't think this machine should be repurchased yearly in order to get the best experience. I think (hope) I got a dud because I have tried coffee from two other machines that look way older/more beat up than mine with coffee that tastes how mine used to. Planning on repurchasing because the Veruto is so convenient and I found the set up great for making lattes. I am just worried about having a similar experience again :(

Doesn’t work most of the time

I’ve had this machine exactly a year. Within the first month I started having trouble with it not working properly. The machine locks up and will not open, put in a 7oz pod but brews 32oz! Sent it in for repair and the issue continues. They did not fix it. Called to ask for a replacement and keep getting told to continue sending it in. I didn’t purchase this just to keep sending it back in for repair! I obviously have a lemon but instead of anyone admitting it and just replacing like they should, it just sits on my counter top taking up space. Complete waste of money!!

Don’t buy it!!

I’ve had this machine for a year now. The very first time using it out of the box it gave an error message that I had to troubleshoot. Since then it works on the first attempt maybe 1/10 times. It’s honestly made my morning coffee the most stressful part of my day. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Don’t Expect it to Work Very Long

This machine quit working within 6 months of buying it. My wife and I left our Keurig out beside it and only used it when we wanted a special cup of coffee because the pods you have to buy for it are so expensive. The coffee is fantastic but the machine is garbage. I wish I’d read all the reviews before purchasing. Do yourself a favor a buy a legit machine that does it all. You will save money in the long run.

Nespresso using iPhone tactics - RIP ALTO

Ive been a Nespresso user from the original days but it seems that Nespresso is employing iPhone like tactics to force you to buy a new machine (iPhone) every year or two to get the products you want. Alto Coffee pods (15oz) are discontinued. Pour over (18oz) pods are only compatible with the newest machine. So to drink a 15 oz coffee in the am I need to use 2 pods or buy a new machine.

Product looks great but does not operate properly.

This is my second Vertuo purchase. I have had one at home work flawlessly for about 2 years.
I just bought one for work and it only pours about half the time and the volumes poured are not correct.
Seems to be a mechanical issue.
