Breaks after warranty expires

Breaks outside of warranty. This is my second vertuo (first broke outside of warranty, also)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. How did I live my life without this machine?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After over a year of talking myself out of buying a Nespresso, I finally caved and I don't regret it for a second. It is so easy to use and the coffee is amazing. I am hooked!

Fills Cup to Incorrect Amount

Bought a few days ago and just arrived. It came with the sample pack, and it doesn't seem to be recognizing the pods correctly as it fills the mug with the incorrect amount of coffee. 7oz pods fill mug to like 3 oz. 5oz pods fill mug to 2 oz etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We're dismayed to learn that your Vertuo Next machine is not meeting your satisfaction. It sounds like the machine may possibly need to be reset to factory settings. You'll find instructions on our website or in your user manual. Use a spent capsule to test the pour so as not to waste any and if you're still not satisfied, call 800.562.1465 for assistance. Frequent Errors

My machine blinked error after error. Once I finally reached an assistant, they gave me a list of things to try. I have no time for this and I will be buying a different brand.

Too difficult to open and close

The machine makes coffee fine, but this is THE most difficult machine to open or close. It's so incredibly hard on my hands that I am looking to purchase a different one. I had one other model prior to this one that was just a touch of a button, it was even a cheaper model than this one. I don't know how or why they decided to go with this mechanism for the lid. If you have arthritis or any issues with opening/closing stuff I would NOT recommend this machine.

So happy with this model

I have the white (magnolia home) version . I absolutely love it, it’s so pretty on my counter. I thought switching from the vertuo next that brewed many more sizes would be a draw back but it’s not because i realized none of those sizes were ones I liked anyway. Also this model feel more luxurious with the automatic lid. The locking lid on the vertuo next was annoying.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are splitting our time between two states and I meant to bring my nespresso machine with me and forgot it. I love this machine so much that we decided to just buy a second one for the next 6 months! It is a part of my daily routine and I love how easy it makes my morning coffee experience.
