Nespresso Vertuo Plus: We like the machine. Just one comment for Nespresso to consider. On cold start, it would be good to have the start logic done with just one press. Instead, it calls for one press and to stand over and wait until ready and then a second press to start.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible machine, not reliable

Terrible machine, it fails right after the warranty expires. I found tons of blogs about it. Nespresso won't replace it and does not stand behind this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Don't buy

Constantly doesn't work, needs to be reset, etc. This is despite me cleaning weekly, descaling, etc.
I called Nespresso and they said I have to reset every time -- who has time for that?
I won't be purchasing another Nespresso machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Convenient

Purchased for a Christmas gift for my husband. Although it has been convenient it's very expensive for the pods. The coffee is great. Starbucks brand is the only type available at the stores.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth it

You will never get this to update. Don't think the app can control it.
Coffee isn't hot enough. Very finicky in its operations.

Great coffee, awful durability

Makes delicious coffee, but is wildly fragile. We’ve replaced ours 3 times in about 2 years. Not only is it a huge inconvenience, we waste a dozen pods trying to get it working again each time.

Lasted only a year.

I love that Nespresso has a recycling program for the pods, but it hurts to throw out a beautiful machine that I've had for barely a year because it started leaking all over the place and I can't stop it. I got the black/rose gold machine, and If the ratings were based on looks, I would have given five stars, but looks only go so far.

Perfect cup of coffee while looking cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my old Vertuo for 10 years when I decided to upgrade. The new Vertuo next has a nice ascetic, comes ant a great price point and makes the perfect cup of coffee.
