Design issue, requires excessive cleaning

I would recommend not buying this model (Vertuo Next). Have had it for 2 years, and I find myself avoiding making coffee at home because there’s maybe a 50% chance it will work and I don’t want to deal with it. Even deep cleaning it only delays the issue for a short while. And this has always been the case basically since day 1. We have the normal Vertuo at work and that thing is a workhorse and never has any issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend the first time use steps at least once a week as part of your machine maintenance, to flush water through your machine and rinse away any coffee granule buildup. Slim design, great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago after my older Nespresso machine stopped working. The slimmer design on the water tank and the overall machine is nice. It takes less space on the counter.

I’ve had this for awhile and I absolutely love this machine and especially the taste of the coffee. I dink mine on ice and it really allows the flavor to come out.

On its last leg…

After 2.5 years of use, the machine started making a weird noise and began vibrating too loudly. We clean it regularly with the Nespresso descaling solution and always maintain it like new. We only use it on the weekends as well. Unsure if this is the life span of a Nespresso machine which would make sense if the warranty is only good for 2 years. The coffee is better than Kuerig but is it worth having to buy a new machine every few years? Probably not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My first purchase was the Vertuo Plus by Breville. I personally love the machine. I still have it currently at my home. I loved my Nespresso Vertuo Plus so much I thought why not purchase the new updated one? However wasn't sure I wanted to purchase one at full price since I already had one machine. I chose to get the Vertuo Next (Reloved). I have had two issues so far and I have had it around 2 weeks. The first one isn't really the machine's fault but maybe it should be easier to see. The Machine apparently doesn't pair with Android 12 or 13. I purchased the supposedly upgraded newer version of Nespresso for 3 reasons.
1. It could pair with my phone. I have a Samsung Flip4. It will NOT pair with my phone; it was purchased at the beginning of this year, so it is NOT an old outdated phone.
2. It could do the smart coffee where I could turn a coffee pod into a double espresso pod. This machine however has been unresponsive to the process. You are supposed to be able to put in any pod press the button 2x under 7s and it turns into an espresso pod. That function hasn't worked.
3. It could do the larger pods. The machine at least as been able to do that. I personally am not sure the extra money is worth the newer espresso vertuo next.
I do love Nespresso, so I don't want to give that impression. I am just disappointed in the issues this one machine has given.
