Great machine, albeit consistent with issues

I bought this Next back in January, and while it was excellent for a couple of months. It began to have a few issues here and there. Honestly, it hasn't bothered me up until today when it began to leak from the front. The water tank area has always leaked on the bottom; though, I chalked that up to the water reservoir still being wet from refilling it with fresh water... I was running a clean cycle (warm water in the tank, unlock lever, press button 5 times fast till it blinks orange five times, then locking & pressing the button three times rapidly, etc), and I noticed that it began to leak in the front of the machine; the spot where the cup holder goes. I had a large bowl underneath the spout to catch the water as it was going through the cleaning cycle.
Within the three-month mark of owning it, when I'd turn the Next on, it would blink red, & wouldn't allow me to brew a cup. I'd have to unplug the cord, wait ten seconds, then plug it back in— and it was running like a well-oiled machine again! Well, that doesn't concern me too much, as that's an easy enough fix. 😀
Overall, I do enjoy the Next, as it brews excellent coffee/espresso— Though, I will certainly be ordering a different Vertuo model next go round— no pun intended. 😅

Vertuo Next - Fun color and slim design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this machine for our motor home, and have the Vertuo for our home use. This machine looks nice but was very loud and the crema was poor quality. It was comprised of a thin layer of bubbles that shrunk to almost nothing after a light stir. We ended up exchanging the Vertuo Next for another Vertuo, which we are very happy with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Nespresso VertuoPlus!!

I love the way this new machine works…heats up quickly, automatically knows which size coffee to make, and coffee tastes great!! Love it!!

Terrible quality

Broke within a year, not worth the money. Coffee tasted fine but these machines are too cheap and break too easily.

Not worth the hype

Not happy with this machine. From all the hype I thought I’d really love it! It performs well but the temperate is mediocre. Barely warm when it’s first brewed. I thought I’d love it more than the keurig. But after almost a year I’m regretting buying it.

This state-of-the-art machine is designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best-suited to that blend, as defined by Nespresso Coffee Experts. Quality is very important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. We have some tips to help prepare a hotter beverage to increase your overall enjoyment:
1. Use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer.
2. Make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly.
3. Clean the brew unit by following these steps: eject the capsule, close and lock the machine, and press the button 3 times rapidly. The cleaning process will take up to 5 minutes and will dispense water from the machine in stops and starts. We recommend doing this weekly for the best maintenance.
4. Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating, and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
If you have followed all of these tips, and the coffee still does not seem hot enough, please call us for further assistance.
