Great…until it isn’t

Loved my machine…until it started dying. Mine started leaking and stopped brewing properly and I tried descaling it at around 10 month hoping that would work…it did. For about another two month. Meaning just enough for the warranty to expire. Now I’m out of a machine, no coffee in the morning and expensive Nespresso pods. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaking.

I've had this machine for about a year and a half. It started leaking slightly from the seam about a year ago. It was small at first, but the leak has just progressively gotten worse. I don't know what to do about it. I like my machine, but I don't know what else to do at this point.

Wish it lasted longer

I have absolutely LOVED my Vertuo plus the past 2 years. I never had any issues with it. Until recently I did a descaling cycle with the Nespresso descaling kit and ever since then my coffee has tasted burnt. I have also kept up with the descaling cycling and rinsing and never had this issue before. Now after several attempts to rinse, and descale again, my machine only produces burnt coffee. My machine is JUST out the 2 year warranty window so now I am out a Nespresso machine. My heart is broken. I was offered 35 % off another machine but it's a lot of money to shell out when the machine is supposed to last a lot longer than 2 years. Very disappointed :(

Bummer of a machine!

18 months and it’s a goner. This machine should last longer than that. No matter what I do and what the Nespresso techs do, no one can get this machine working again. Blinks twice red and goes back to yellow/green. Did all the checks and was then told sorry but your machine is never going to work again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nothing but trouble

Have had nothing but problems with this machine. Use it once a day and every other week gives me the code that it needs cleaning and descaling and won't run properly. Have wasted so many pods, that I think Nespresso owes me!

Machine doesn't last long

I've had this machine for about a year and it's stopped working and is defective. When I first looked at this machine in a nespresso store, the salesman said "don't trust the reviews online, there were some issues but they've been fixed and the machine works great now". Well the reviews were correct. This machine has massive problems with longevity. My first nespresso machine lasted me just shy of 5 years. Bought this one thinking the new features were worth it and would last me a good amount of time...i was wrong.
Still got a year out of it though and the features of the extra sizes and such are awesome. I'm not sure if i just had one of the older machines that may have been part of the original problem batch, but disappointed in it especially if the people selling it know it may not be a quality product that one would expect and are still pushing it on people.

Buy any other model

I have had three of these machines break in three years - it's not worth it. Invest in any other model; do not get this one. It makes good coffee, but I'm sure the others do too! Spend the little extra money for a VertuoPlus so you don't have to deal with all of the random errors and frustration of trying to get a replacement.

Poor product

Coffee is great but machine is crap. Lousy engineering. I did required maintenance and went through numerous lengthy troubleshooting sessions with machine support. They were able to get the machine working every time only for it to fail again. I got a replacement Vertuo Next last year but this one didn't even last as long as the first one before it started failing. The latest round of troubleshooting with Machine support was yesterday and the machine only worked for one day this time. Don't waste your time and money on Vertuo Next. Go with another model to save yourself some pain.
