Poor Reliability - do not recommend

This product failed in a little over 2 years. I keep it maintained, only use RO water, and Nespresso pods but it started leaking from the top of the machine during the brewing process. When it worked, it made great coffee but a coffee maker should not fail like this in such a short time. If you are considering this model, I do not recommend it purely on my experience of its reliability.

STAY AWAY

It’s a terrible machine. When it works it makes excellent coffee but again that is WHEN it works. It hardly ever works properly. I have done everything correctly and talked to their support multiple times which is a lengthy process in its own. Word of advice stay away from this machine!

Loud motor, no coffee

I've had two Vertuo Next machines in three years. The first didn't last a year. The motor made a lot of noise but nothing came out. The trouble shooter I worked with was patient, thorough and friendly but we were unable to get the machine working so Nespresso sent me a new machine as it was still under warranty. The second machine lasted a little over a year and a half so it's no longer under warranty and I'm having the same issue.

Terrible product, I'm on my 4th machine because it's a defected product line...just costing Nespresso money and my time. Annoying.

Plan to buy a new machine every year.

Great coffee if you don't mind purchasing a new machine every year. I absolutely love the coffee, but my first machine lasted 3 months. The replacement lasted 15 months. Now it is out of warranty and I'm on the hook if I want to use all these pods I've purchased. Grrrr.

If the Firmware update is successful we’d recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Going back to my old machine. This one is not great. Really hard to close. I actually thought it was broken, so I called and was told "yea, its really hard to close". Really? The water container is at the back, which I guess is designed to save space. But the lid does fall into the water container if you aren't careful. Emptying the pods is impossible. You tilt the container out and there is a second container inside for some odd reason. Takes both hands, and mostly is just nonsense, slides all over the place. Really surprised Nespresso put out such a machine.

Leaks

This machine leaks. I've sent it for repairs multiple times and they cannot fix it long-term. A few months of use, and it starts leaking again.
