Great tasting coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this machine for about a month and the quality of the coffee is very good. I started using Nespresso Vertuo years ago, I think it was the original version and always loved the coffee. My old machine died after several years (I had bought it used) so I got a new one. This one is much quitter than my older machine and less bulky. I am very happy with the product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only lasts 6 months

I've had two of these machines and each one only worked for 6 months before I started having the same issue. It begins as a random error that prevents coffee from brewing, which becomes more and more frequent until it won't brew at all. With the first model, I spent an hour on the phone with customer service to go through every avenue to ensure it wasn't functioning before they agreed to send me a new machine - I appreciated this and the process was easy! But here we are, 8 months later with another non-functioning machine. I rinsed and descaled the first model, and have been religious with maintenance on the second machine - same issue. The error is "capsule not recognized." Very frustrating to waste several capsules and not know if it's going to work in the morning or not. Reading other reviews and speaking to Nespresso store employees, this seems to be a common issue with this model. I would skip!

We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Love the push button

My new Vertuo Next

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Vertuo Next needed to be replaced. I could only make one cup before having to wait a couple of hours to make another. I think I used it too much!!! And I don't think I maintained it like I should have, either...according to instructions. Anyway, the new one works perfectly. I always make two cups of different coffees and combine them first thing in the morning, add a little heavy cream, and do some reading while sipping on some amazing coffee. I have a Keurig but I hardly use it any more. The coffee just never tastes as good as Nespresso.

Great coffee, great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this when our standard coffee maker broke. My daughter loves her machine so I thought I’d give it a try. The machine is so easy to use and everyone in the house can enjoy their specific coffee (rather than making a pot that appealed primarily to one person). It’s been fun to try different coffees and find which I prefer. Overall, it’s fun, easy and great tasting!

Have had trouble with this from day one. We have a Vertuo that has been working for over 6 years but this one has always been a challenge. The orange light blinks randomly even after you have just descaled it. Now it won't even turn on and we have only had it for a little over a year.

We have had to replace this twice in the first year, numerous videos on YouTube of the many problems it has, so NOT recommended

Horrible - Don’t get this machine

I love Nespresso and had an original line for years. We decided to upgrade and get a Vertuo Next. It lasted for a year then stopped working. Customer service was great and sent a replacement. However then that replacement broke and we were sent another one. Three months in that replacement broke and we were sent a new one. We’re on our third replacement and this machine stopped working again. I’m happy customer service replaces the machine but this machine is horrible. I’m so over this and ready to just order a different machine.
Save yourself the trouble and get a different machine.
