Don’t buy the Vertuo Next model!

I’ve had this Nespresso next machine for less than two years and it really has been temperamental out if the box. Today it started throwing error messages and flashing the message it needed to be cleaned, despite the fact it was descaled last week and is cleaned regularly. I treat the machine well and only use filtered water and clean it regularly. This model was purchased for my home office and is a bust! I would not recommend purchasing it. For reference, I’ve had a Vertuo Evoluo model that’s run without issue for four years and makes better tasting coffee than the Next model that broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine! It’s my second one after having my first for about 3 years. It lasts awhile if you keep up with descaling.

not happy with this machine

I got this machine as a gift , too date the expresso is warm NOT HOT , going to call Nespresso to see if they have any explanation why ??

I have my 3rd Vertuo plus machine ! each one lasted less than a year and actually what I am using now lasted 6 month terrible noise and vibrations in spite of regular cleaning and descaling. I am putting up for now with the noise as I am shopping for a new one..not sure if I should really stick with Nespresso ..never had a problem with Keurig but wanted to have a "fancier"one!..

Do not purchase

When we first got this, we loved it. Best thing ever!! Could never go back to any other. We’ve descaled it and it won’t do the rinse cycle. Has the red ring. This is so disappointing. You have to send it to them for two weeks while they “repair” and most likely send you a refurbished machine. Will not recommend to anyone. Have to go back to my no fail Keurig.

Breaks after a year

Started leaking coffee out of the back at just over a year. Of course that’s how long their warranty is for, told me I could buy a new one.

Bad cup tray design

Nice quiet machine with large water tank. Huge problem with machine design is the convex cup holding tray. Even Nespresso's own cappuccino cups will not stay on tray and vibrate off due to shape of machine in cup area. Disastrous when cup is filling with coffee and crashes all over your kitchen!

I received this as a gift for Christmas. I hadn't even used it for a month before the button stopped responding. I sent it off to get repaired and it's still not working and won't even turn on or brew anything.
