Charges an iphone 5, and drops down to 20%, then I recharge for hours up to 100%, recharge the same iphone and power drops down to 80%, then I plug in my ipad to charge it, and it drops down to 10%. Its a very inconsistant battery, and the charge times are across the board. I've seen it charge my phone three or four times, and then some days I only get one charge out of it. I've plugged in my laptop for about 2 minutes then dies.

I bought the Serpa 50 and Nomad 13 panel a couple of years ago for an upcoming trip, that was canceled. I also bought 3 of the lantern lights to work with it. This went unused for a year or so and I took it out and plugged in to charge. It wouldn't hold a charge, even thought the indicator read 80% or full. Now it wont even power the lights with it plugged into house current. A fair amount of money spent, with absolutely nothing to show for it. Since all the plugs are proprietary, I can't even use the lights with another power source.

I got this product for Christmas I love it charged my phone my brother's phone and my dads phone and it was stil at 80% battry capacity at witch point I pluged it into a bolder 30 and it was charged to 100% in 1-2 hours. I took it on a ski trip and brought a nomad 7. it kept my phone charged on the Mountain but it was tricky to keep it at a functining temperature (30 degrees or higher). At the lodge I put my nomad in a window where it had direct sun light in 30 minits I got about 10% charge when I charged a laptop it drained the power pack fast in about 50 minutes to an hour it was at 60% and my laptop got about a 25-30% boost. I have no complaints and it was a grate gift.

I plan to use this during my next year in Uganda. So far the charger is very slow to reach full charge and very quick to discharge. I hope it will do better in the tropics but I reserve judgment.

This product is ideal for somebody that has multiple electrical needs throughout the day. I put in eight hours using my phone and tablet and sometimes, a laptop. This gets me through the end of the day without having to take extra time to find a wall socket.

Keeps my tablet and my phone charged when I travel which is why I bought it. I can't wait to test the laptop kit.

Got this most awsome powerpack today with the inverter and Nomad13. This device has all power ports available(5V, 12V, 110V) and it includes a direct 19V power port to more efficently charge a laptop. As with each GZ product I purchase, I run it thru real world tests on the stuff I use. I am testing running 3- LAL lights at the moment, 80% power remaining after 1hr. Will pack this up in the large mesh pocket on the new Nomad13 solar panel, and off to Puta Cana to have the sun recharge Sherpa and me... I love this untethered lifestyle.
