My test of any light source is to go into my walk-in closet and close the door. It's a long room, about 15 feet. The walls on each side are lined with clothing and the floor is littered with many black gear bags of different sizes and shapes. As I age, I find it increasingly difficult to make out details when several black items are grouped. But the light does an amazing job of illumination the length of the room and at allowing me to discern details. I've only given it 4 Stars because I've not field tested it. I know it'll be durable. I've never found any goal Zero gear to be delicate. It's small but fits nicely into one's grip when using the flashlight mode. Great that his has two intensity setting. Excellent for day and longer hikes, BOBs and the vehicle.

This is an excellent flashlight and lantern. It's small but very bright. The lantern lights will light a room and it makes an excellent nightlight. It is a good thig it can be dimmed as it is extremely bright. Both the flashlight and the lantern (both side and one side) are dimmable.

Another sweet little light from Goal Zero. I particularly like that it has a dimmable option, very long run time and good light temperature. I bought the most basic one for testing and will pick up a couple more but this time with the flashlight option.

This product is much better than I expected. It is small and easy to carry around but very versatile. Being waterproof is just perfect. I can use it as a flash light and as a small lamp for all of my Boy Scout campouts. It is now a permanent attachment to my day pack during all of my Boy Scout activities. I am considering to buy one more to put in my other full size backpack as a backup.

The dimmer makes it great

Excellent little light, it's about the same size as the switch10 so it can go anywhere. It is brighter then I expected and the two or four light option with variable dimmer makes it very versatile. Very happy with it.

I have all GZ flashlights. This has a STRONG DIFFUSE flash light plus a lantern effect. You can get a lot of time before charge. I don't like the on/off button. It's very positive feeling, but not easy to locate by touch. I trained myself. Plus the switch requires a firm firm push or even fingernail push. Nonetheless I bought more to keep in the cars for emergency and for my 3 year old grandson who love my Lighthouse Micro Flash

I get excited with every new product GZ puts out. this was no different. I purchased one recently. It is a great product. My only recommendation is to relocate the on/off/toggle button. It is difficult to locate by touch, and at night you have to look into the light to find it. Other than that, I love the product and plan on buying a few more for the cars and go bag.

Purchased this about a month ago. For such a small bulb, it puts out a lot of light and I like how it has a center light and a wide and diffuse light at the same time. It is very light weight and great for packing or in the pocket. The only downside I see so far is the on and off button is quite difficult to access and press - as other people have said. Great light overall though.
