Excellent Home Theater Projector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to find an LED projector in my price range for a new home theater. This projector has met or exceeded all my expectations. I love knowing I shouldn't need to replace an expensive projector bulb for many thousands of hours of use. Nice side effects of this LED unit are the instant on/off ability and quiet & cool operation. Integrated TV tuner has been a bonus when we needed it.
My only minor complaints are that this uses an external power supply and the zoom adjustment is rather weak. I'd prefer the power supply be incorporated into the unit, but understand this was probably done to address size & heat management concerns. Auto keystone correction is adequate, but I have used other projectors with more capable manual keystone adjustments.
Image is bright & clear. We had some reservations about the brightness rating of this projector, but it is more than adequate with the lights on, and provides an excellent image with the lights dimmed or off.
While we have this unit permanently ceiling mounted, it is rather small & would make an excellent portable projector.
I'm looking forward to seeing what LG has in store for the next generation of this model. 2K lumen? 4K? 3D? I'll be watching to see what they can come up with.

Images are crystal clear. All of my friends are envious of me. My next purchase will be one of LG's ultra short throw projectors for my bedroom

Best Project for HDR10 Movies

The performance of projector is amazing,especially the projectors support HDR10 thus viewing movies directly through USB are absolute stunning.
The detail,the sharpness,the color are just beautiful.

There was a focusing problem with my old LG PW800 Projector which usually gets out of focus but this doesn't.
16:9 HD Screen 120" HDR10 Support..Just Amazing
I would recommend the projector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I but I bought it as my first projector, for a small room, thinking to change it in a couple of years. Its not as bright as I would have liked, but its perfect in all the other senses. So for the buck, I think there is nothing better

easy to use entertainment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I underestimated how much i would enjoy this product! Using the projector for art projects, videos with my chromecast, or outdoor movies with friends. The unplugged portable mode was surprisingly efficient!

My favorite projector until it stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality, small size, and low fan noise on this projector are GREAT. I loved everything about it, but first the auto-keystone stopped working, which I worked around by manually setting keystone. Then the lamp stopped working. When I power up the projector, the fans come on, but the lamp doesn't and there is no picture. I left it unplugged overnight, and it started working again for a few days, but then it stopped working altogether. I LOVE this projector, but it only has a couple hundred hours and it no longer works.
Sadly, I bought the PF1500w to replace my LG pa75u, that failed with a purple screen, also with low hours of usage. I absolutely love the LG projectors when they are working, but with 2 failures of 2 different model failures, both with very low hours, it looks like I need to switch to another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
