Great TV

I bought this TV over a month ago and I have been absolutely pleased with it! I was a little put off by the 3D at first, but then I found in the display menu how to set it up and make it look better....then BAM! it was perfect. Since 3D started in theaters, I haven't been one to jump in and watch the 3D version, I'd prefer the standard. After owning this TV, however, I've been buying 3D versions of my favorite movies and found a new love in it. The 4K resolution on this TV is fantastic too! I was skeptical at first as to whether or not I'd really notice a difference, but I definitely do! Watching different shows and documentaries on Netflix has made me see the difference 4K makes. I'm also an avid gamer, and this TV holds up. I notice a difference in image quality and framerate smoothness from my old Panasonic Plasma. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a new TV. With all it's features, picture quality, and price, it's a great buy!

Amazing Clarity

This LG tv is everything we were looking for. It has amazing clarity and its Smart TV feature gives us unlimited access to the internet and programming we like. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great picture, love the 3D

All of the family have enjoyed this TV, especially the 3D feature. Even viewing a 2D movie in 3D was pretty incredible. Still learning about all the features, but am very happy so far with this set.

I waited forever to get a flat screen TV! I am so glad that I waited for the 4K. I took a long time to research and am so glad I went with the LG. This one has the best of everything!!!

Worked perfect out of the box but within a few weeks I started to experience issues. The picture started to turn redder and darker. The blacks seemed to clip and there was quite a bit of color banding as if I were watching 8 bit video. I got on with customer support chat and after some setting changes it returned to normal.
Another few weeks later the issue returned only now there was severe latent image retention. I was about to send it back and suddenly it returned to normal again and has been performing flawless since(several weeks). Fingers crossed.
My only other remark to make is the remote. It's very clumsy, mostly when trying to enter text, especially YouTube.

Horrible stand, good TV

The stand is not only ugly, but unusable for me. I have to pile up totes next to my TV stand to support the right leg. Instead of a nice, normal stand that is a flat base with a center stick, the TV is supported by legs on both ends and a metal bar that runs in front of the set. It makes it impossible to have my game consoles underneath the set.
Okay, so TV itself, good picture, nice sound, pretty design (aka minimal bezel). Stand is a big F.

Just received mine after a long awaited arrived! It's everything that I was hoped it would be.. The picture is so clear and crisp! I thought I was actually in the water in some tropical videos. hehe. . i'm so happy with this purchase and would recommend this tv to anyone! I love the web os setup, but the magic remote take a little white to get use to. Anyway, thanks LG for making the 4k that fit into my budget!
