I bought the Hald women's watch for a very specific reason. I didn't want a super complicated smart watch that was just like looking at my phone, only smaller. I only wanted a few features packed in a old school watch style. I wanted the find my phone feature, alerts (vibrating) when my husband or son called/texted, and I wanted the dual time zone. First of all let me say it's a beautiful watch. Skagen is great with design. But my complaints are as follows 1) the watch band is too large. At 5'10" I'm no small woman. I have the band buckle in the last hole available. I'm not sure how a smaller woman could wear the watch. It would spin around on her wrist. My complaint is that there is so much excess band that it wraps around almost to the watch face. Very unattractive. Also annoying is when the strap slips out of the restraints and flops around. 2) the alert function is MISERABLE. It is so faint I can't feel it. Once in awhile, if I'm sitting very still at my computer I can feel it but otherwise, not all all. 3) the find my phone feature works 90% of the time. There is no rhyme or reason when it doesn't work. Just this morning it was in the room with me and the phone didn't ring when I pressed the button. the pros: the activity tracker is fine, and I like the dual time zone. But all in all, I'm sad to say that this purchase left me disappointed.

Have just had it a couple of weeks and still figuring out the features. Did not find the Skagen website helpful and have watched a few videos on YouTube but none are specific to this watch which seems to have different features.

Beautiful, Nice, Simple Functions, Sync Trouble

The quality of the watch itself is very good, and it has a sleek, modern look. I have small wrists, and the watch face is pretty large. I like the somewhat bulky look of it, but you have to be into that. It's a hybrid, so not as many functions as a normal smart watch, but I have been happy with the step tracker and other smart functions so far. Honestly, I would have given 5 stars, but this watch never syncs with my phone properly. I've called customer service to have them help me re-connect it. It worked for a little while and then started having trouble again. It takes forever to sync and I always have to try multiple times. Everyone once in a while I have to un-connect and then re-connect the watch and then I lose data. It's pretty annoying.

Customer care contacted me about my smelly strap. They kindly offered a replacement and suggested I don't use the watch for exercise. Its arrived now - Thank you. I haven't changed it yet as I know it will start to colour as soon as I start to wear it. :( I still like the look of my watch but sadly the untreated leather strap is not good for wearing next to skin. See the colour my strap is now, after 8 months. I'm still hoping that Skagen will quickly make a mesh strap with rose gold clasp size 20mm.
