Keeps the phone slim and protected

I normally don't get cases for my phones. They always add so much bulk, and I loved with the edge screen how slim this device feels. For the small cost, I decided I'd try this case just to see. I'd like to protect my phone if I could, if it meant not sacrificing its slim size. This case fits wonderfully and it is really thing. It protects the rear phone from scratching, protects the corners, and the edge without covering any part of the usable edge screen.
BONUS the back plate has a divide between the camera and fingerprint sensor. It is now a million times easier to feel for the fingerprint sensor and no longer be touching the camera lens!
The corner edges are slightly raised, almost unnoticeable. This allows you to set it face down, without the screen touching whatever flat surface you set it face down on. The case is slightly clear, but matches the phone color, you can't tell there is opaqueness unless you have the phone out of the case.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, slim, snug fit

Love this case, as a person who doesn't like cases

I haven't used cases since my Galaxy S3, 5 years ago.. I just don't like the bulk it adds to my phone (especially when they kept getting bigger and wider), and I generally never drop my phone anyway so I just skip it and take the risk.
Now that the S8 has slimmed down tho I figured I would try this. It actually made the phone more comfortable for me to use; it gives it more grip, makes the fingerprint scanner easier to locate, and best of all it adds next to no bulk to the phone.

Admittedly, the phone did slip from my lap once, and the case saved it I'm sure. There's an impact mark at the bottom right, and the case doesn't seem as snug there as it once did (I hear a slight squeak when I squeeze that corner in a quiet environment), that could've been a dent! Before that, PERFECT FIT. The sound is a very minor annoyance, so I am gonna get another since it's inexpensive.
It is not exactly perfect tho, dust/lint might gather at top edge, and it's only a problem since the cases are largely translucent. But this is a problem I assume with any clear case, and it is really easy to take off and wipe away anyway.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, adds grip, easier fingerprint scanner locating
Cons: dust/lint gathers at top edge visible

Elegant basic protection

If you are the one that always take care of your phone and don't want to use those thick cases, this is the elegant thin case basic protection you need for your Samsung S8. fits perfectly it looks that didn't have any case on.
This will protect your phone for minor bumps, I'll recommend an additional screen protection with this case.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: for light bumps and falls

Slim case, covers the corners without the bulk

I have the grey case, it's pretty much clear. Very slim case, probably not going to survive a catastrophic fall, but should lessen a smaller drop's damage. This case was exactly what I was looking for. Makes the fingerprint reader reachable without hitting the camera lens too. Really dumb design choice.
Pros: Inexpensive

Great Simple Case

This case fits well, as expected as its a Samsung OEM product, and added very minimal bulk and weight to the phone. I would have preferred the case be more of a matte back style instead of a glossy clear plastic, but that is only a minor preference. This case will not be for you if you are expecting it to protect against major drops and falls as it is so slim, but will protect your phone's back from surface scratches. Because it is clear, it has a hint of light blue color, and it matches my Coral Blue S8 very nicely. Good basic case at a good basic price. Recommended.

Slim but slick

The case is very slim around the phone, which is great but it is very, very slippery.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Overall, not bad. Bought the silver one for the silver S8+. Thin while offering what feels like enough corner protection. My only compaint is that its semi-opaque. The wonderful mirror finish of the silver phone cannot be showcased.
Samsung, please make us a crystal clear variant!
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: leans heavily toward opaque.

Ive had it for 4-6 months, saved me from numerous small falls and 3-4 big falls, face down straight to cement falls. Has began to crack at the bottom two corners but still holds well.
