The convection bake is the selling point of this oven! It bakes anything a typical oven would bake, including browning! Any small family could use this for their primary oven for all baking needs!

Not a second oven

I've had this microwave/convection oven for about 2 years. I bought it to use as both a microwave (which is fine, except I would prefer if the clock function stayed on, and the time settings only are in increments of 15 seconds and quite finicky when setting the dial, but whatever). My main complaint is that this is only functional as a second oven IF whatever you are cooking fits on the turntable, meaning that any casseroles or larger rectangular roasting pans can fit in the oven but won't work because the turntable can't be shut off. There seems to be a picture showing a longer metal rack (other than the round one that sets atop the turntable), but it wasn't included with my oven nor can I find it as an accessory. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced our old GE microwave with this one. We love the looks of this microwave/oven. Powerful microwave with oven feature. The design layout is very modern & attractive, much more stylish than regular microwave with wall mount trim.

Superior quality and design

So far this microwave is amazing. It is spacious and powerful which we love. We have been warming up several items at the same time and with even baked cookies in it. So far it is exceeding our expectations and we have no regrets purchasing this expensive item.

Didn't want or need two full-sized ovens. Like the fact this product can be used as a microwave or convection oven. So far have only used as a microwave, but looking forward to using as a convection oven.
