We opted for these rather than buying a complete set of dumbbells in the same weight increments. This was ultimately a lot cheaper. At first they were a little bulky to use. It only took two sessions of weight training to get used to them. Overall we're extremely happy with them. We love our selectech kettle bell as well.

I have only one issue with this product and t\he reason it did not get 5 stars. The 50.2's do not sit on the stand I bought that II have or use with the 1090's I had prior. It's close but not correct. I wish I could get the plates (separately) that I could then mount to my existing stand to support these 50.2's. Other than that, another Quality home gym product from Bowflex! Steve

My BF has a set of the 1090s and we had to share them. I got tired of sharing and I didnt need as much weight so I bought my own. He's jealous of the hand grips on them! Love them so much more than the metal ones on his! They turn easy. In and out of the rack easy. Great system! The height of the stand is a little weird (he said aw cute its a baby stand...grrr) but Im short so it was perfect for me! Can't imagine not having the stand too. I definitely recommend them!
