I purchased these to supplement my BowFlex home gym. The home gym is a great machine, but there are a few arm, shoulder and leg exercises that are better done with dumbbells. The SelectTech dumbbells replaced several sets of single weight dumbbells and take up much less space in my exercise room. They are sturdy and well built. The weight adjustment knobs are easy to use and the detents and locking mechanisms are positive. I like the ability to offset the weights. The only downside is they are somewhat awkward because of their size. Now that I'm used to them, their size isn't an issue.

What's not to love about these weights? They are adjustable from 5-52 pounds, so now I don't have to have a whole bunch of different size weights. That saves me space and money. These weights are very reasonable and the quality is just amazing!!! They are so easy to use and the grip is very comfortable. I wish I would have gotten these sooner!!!

I added these to go along with a squat cage and I'm happy with them for the price. The only cons are that it isn't expandable, lengthy, and have plastic construction. Otherwise they're easy to use, take up minimal space, and get the job done when strength training. I've heard people say they're dumbbell sets have lasted years with heavy usage despite plastic construction so I'm not worried about it.
