I'm loving my weights! I questioned buying them because some of the weights are heavier than I need to use, but I am in a small apartment and instead of tripping over all my varied sized hand weights, I get to stay organized and efficient. I like the grip on them, very secure and their unusual shape makes it easier to do certain exercises that would not be possible with regular dumbbells. ( like behind the knees for lifting as an example) I bought these for my son a few years back and found myself enjoying them so much when I visited him that I bought my own. I am his 67 year old mom, so I would say, they are great for all ages!

I have limited storage space, so these save on space with their compact modular design. My main regret is not getting the storage base. I love that the dumbbells weight can be offset for fine tuning different muscle groups. The Bowflex® SelectTech® Stand and Bowflex® 5.1S Stowable Bench will be great additions when I finish the basement area.

The quality of 552 dumbbells is really well. I got this product a couple of weeks back and used it a few times. They are sturdy. The dials are very easy to change and work flawlessly. The one con is that the dumbbells are way too long. For the flexibility of being able to change weights, the length of the bar ends up becoming too long even for a 5 pound weight. For people with small body frames, it's very hard to use the dumbbells side by side held one in each hand (e.g for doing arm curls). I hope that they make a version for a light/casual users, something like from 5 pounds to 25 pounds, that will help reduce the length of the dumbbells. It will also make it easier for it to carry the whole thing around from room to room if required. #sweepstakes This comment is mainly for my specific need. Other than that the product is great!
