Tried a set of off brand selectable dumb bells at a store, and they just did not work well. So, I decided to go to the source and go right to the originator of the selectable weight dumb bells and boy am I glad I did. These are nothing like the off brand set I saw in the store, the Bowflex dumbbells click right into the weight correctly every time, quietly and smoothly. I'm also very impressed with how easily it is to put the dumb bells back into their storage - truly exceptional. I think they are pretty much perfect, not sure if there is anything I'd change.

Being able to use these between curls, rows, shoulder presses, arm lifts etc, I love how easy it is to switch the weights and make them super light, or super heavy! Worth the investment 100%. I'm sod on these if I ever want another pair in the future.
