I bought these recently after having looked at them for years. We have transitioned to working out at home entirely, and getting new weights whenever we needed to increase was getting super expensive. We finally bought these and we're absolutely in love. They're so easy to use and it's so nice having those in between weights (like 17.5 and 22.5) for when I'm not quite ready to bump up fully. I cannot recommend these enough!
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet
I appreciate being able to have all my weights in one place. I do still keep some individual dumbbells for certain moves as the Bowflex ones are too bulky for specific things. Overall, I would recommend trying them.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Quiet
I used the bowflex dumbbells in my basement 4x/week. I enjoy the space and money I've saved having an all on one set of dumbbells. I also save time not having to adjust normal loadable dumbbells. My biggest complaint is the shape and texture of the handles. The texture is smooth and shiny causing a slick grip, especially when sweating. The shape is thicker in the middle so your hand tends to slip to one side of the other. I would like to see a knurled metal texture like a barbell with one consistent width throughout
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
Tried a set of off brand selectable dumb bells at a store, and they just did not work well. So, I decided to go to the source and go right to the originator of the selectable weight dumb bells and boy am I glad I did. These are nothing like the off brand set I saw in the store, the Bowflex dumbbells click right into the weight correctly every time, quietly and smoothly. I'm also very impressed with how easily it is to put the dumb bells back into their storage - truly exceptional. I think they are pretty much perfect, not sure if there is anything I'd change.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
