When the pandemic hit, I did not feel comfortable going to the gym, felt they were dirty and would raise my risk of catching the virus. Having these weights and a bench at home, I can get all of the workouts in I could do at the gym with some modification and I love them. I bought the 552 Dumbbells for the purpose of having a home strength option. I did some research on different types of selectorized dumbbells and these came up often as top rated. I have experience with weights and I knew that the increments were going to be ideal. So far, I am very impressed with their ease of use. The rest easily on their cradle rack and the notches to adjust the increments are simple and easy to use. I also like that the actual dumbbells can also rest easily on the floor and do not roll around, but have a flat section so they stay stationary when not holding them. The only negatives for me was that: 1. I waited 116 days to receive them! I ordered in late November as a Christmas present for myself. Then, learned of a planned 2.5 to 3 month wait, but it took much longer. So, that was a bit annoying. And, 2. while not a major issue, they are quite large as far as overall size and feel bulky (because when at the 52 level, they kind of have to be), but it is a lot of bulk for a dumbbell that just feel for a woman with smaller hands just takes some getting used to. Overall though, very pleased with them and happy to have them!
