The dumbbells are solid. They are bulky, but not so much that they are uncomfortable. Switching weights is easy. The year subscription to the JRNY app that came with these is useless. It looks like it has some decent videos on how to use the dumbbells, but you can't cast them to a tv or anything, you can only see them on your phone. The video display is about 1 inch tall, so they are too tiny to be useful. #sweepstakes

These are amazing! Just, need the stands. Having to pick them up from the ground (or whatever table you may place them on) is clunky and potentially could cause injury. Feels like the stands are necessary and should be included in the purchase. I ordered a stand after getting these, and realizing how difficult they are to use without it!

I got these so that both my wife and I would have dumbbells of the weight we each want. These are easy to switch back and forth between lighter and heavier weights quickly. The only downside is they are a bit longer than regular dumbbells would be. In my opinion, though, this is a small con compared to the convenience they offer.
