I haven't had the SelectTech set for an extended period of time, however, the ease and comfort level have already paid off. With regular dumbbells, I was consistently stopping my workouts to tighten them up as not to create an injury or damage my floor. I recently added strength training back into my workout routine and needed a variety of weights. While the sticker price for the SelectTech was high, they are 100% worth the investment. Considering I live in a small apartment, these fit perfectly in front of my Peloton bike. They are slightly bulky, but it doesn't hinder my range of motion at all. While I don't think I will ever use the 52.5lbs, my husband makes use out of the heavier weight and we can easily share.
