Love these weights!

The product was recommended by Beach Body and it was the best purchase for my crossfit training regimens. I have been amazed at how heavy I can lift as a female, fairly new to weight training. These are convenient and easy to scale up or down, depending on your needs. I use my free weights as a supplement while working a circuit and considering purchasing an additional set for the medium range. As a female consumer, I love this product.

excellent compact weight solution

For the past three years I have traveled for work every week. My hotel only has a cable system and various cardio machines so not having a set of dumbbells was a serious omission to my workout preference. I was at a sporting goods store ready to try and find a solution for myself other than resistance bands and decided on these for the ability to still use a dumbbell but also have a compact design that could be stored on the days I was not there. I basically kept the styrofoam packaging for each dumbbell and now place this with its dumbbell and tray inside their own luggages to store when I am away. Three months of use and all is well so far. I will say that my only regret was not choosing the 1090 for the additional weight. That said, as it is now, with each 52.5lb dumbbell in its packaging and fit inside a luggage, I can keep each luggage just under 70lbs which makes it easy to take them home if needed as checked baggage on my flights (as long as Delta keeps allowing me three bags at 70lbs each that is!).As far as the dumbbells themselves, they have a great handle diameter and although the plates sometimes feel cumbersome compared to a regular more compact dumbbell, they fill the void for me in a way I otherwise would not have had being that they are a compact way to have a full range of dumbbells. Also, spinning the dials to select the next weight is a fast and efficient way to keep up your pace while lifting and easily increase or decrease weight between reps/sets. I should have bought these a few years ago.
