The initial cost seams high, but the value is actually pretty exceptional. I was on the fence between just getting more dumbbells because I'm a person that's doesn't like change; once I'm comfortable with something or some brand I'm loyal; but Bowflex absolutely has an incredible product in these dumbbells. They are balanced, easy to use and I don't have to leave a mess of weights laying around. Im so glad I made the purchase, it's only been a couple of weeks but so far I don't see any limitations in the type of motions one can do. They are longer than the standard dumbbells obviously, but not enough to limit ones range of motion.
