At 66 years old with a back operation the VA hospital and we lost our home because my company that having a full time con=mputer software enginer. When I was working, I had a fully equipped gym in my basement. I thought that I would have to quit lifting, UNTIL I discovered the Bowflex Dumbbells. Plenty of weight, easy abd faster workouts. They will be here this Tuesday and along with a strong set if resistance bands I'll be back. Lifting helps me not only for the obvious, but with my PTSD from Vietnam.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens

I hate going to the gym

I hated going to the gym and then I found these dumbbells. What a game changer for me because now I can do so many different exercises in the comfort of my home. It takes getting used to them from traditional dumbbells but that awkwardness lasted all but 5 minutes. Thanks Bowflex for getting me back into working out again!!
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Use, Strengthens

Cardiac Rehab

After suffering another heart attack, a weight training program was mandated by my physician. I did add a flat bench to aid in my rehab program. Light weights (15#) for a full upper body there times a week. From someone who was a gym rat able to bench 405#, I find my workout is tough to complete. I also have to incorporate a walking routine into my program, but this will come in time. No energy! Old age sucks!

Cons: Sticks at time when picking up the dumbell.

I use these weights almost every day for my strength training workouts - I LOVE them. I have several other sets of adjustable weights and they are slowly falling apart and REALLY difficult to change quickly - these are so easy to use and change quickly. These are a game changer for me, allowing me to go up to 52.5 per weight and not needing to buy set after set of dumbbells, and I love the half weights at 17.5 and 22.5 too! The only issue I've noticed is that are a little bulky for me to do certain squats and lower body movements with - still doable however. I'm also thicker on my bottom half so that's definitely part of the issue.

So far love the dumbbells. Great space saver and I find the transition from one weight choice to another to be simple and quick. Did not find a need to adjust exercises due to size of the units. Very happy with the purchase
