I have been consideriing buying bow flex adjustable dumbbells for a long time, but never did, until just about a month ago. That was a mistake. The fact that you can adjust up to 50 pounds eliminates the need for both space and equipment. These dumbbells are also uniquely designed in such away that challenge you to use your entire body when using them. The 552 weights are quite efficient too. They are lightweight and adjust so effortlessly that you reduce time between exercises. So my the money I paid for these dumbbells was not an expense, but a wise investment indeed. I also highly recommend the excellent media stand, which reduces the risk of injury!

Life Saver

At 66 years old with a back operation the VA hospital and we lost our home because my company that having a full time con=mputer software enginer. When I was working, I had a fully equipped gym in my basement. I thought that I would have to quit lifting, UNTIL I discovered the Bowflex Dumbbells. Plenty of weight, easy abd faster workouts. They will be here this Tuesday and along with a strong set if resistance bands I'll be back. Lifting helps me not only for the obvious, but with my PTSD from Vietnam.

I hate going to the gym

I hated going to the gym and then I found these dumbbells. What a game changer for me because now I can do so many different exercises in the comfort of my home. It takes getting used to them from traditional dumbbells but that awkwardness lasted all but 5 minutes. Thanks Bowflex for getting me back into working out again!!

Cardiac Rehab

After suffering another heart attack, a weight training program was mandated by my physician. I did add a flat bench to aid in my rehab program. Light weights (15#) for a full upper body there times a week. From someone who was a gym rat able to bench 405#, I find my workout is tough to complete. I also have to incorporate a walking routine into my program, but this will come in time. No energy! Old age sucks!

Cons: Sticks at time when picking up the dumbell.
