Love these dumbbells. The only problem I've had is that sometimes it's tough to get them off the stand after switching back from a heavy weight. Have to work them around a little to get them back to normal. I can't imagine working out at home without them. Have done P90X 4 times with them. Lost 35 lbs and now have 6% bodyfat. Purchase was a no brainer for me. Would've paid more for a gym membership and I'm in the best shape of my life (I was a college athlete too). Golf swing has increased 6 mph with my driver!

This is the best set of dumbbells I've ever owned. I am using the Chalean Extreme workout series and these are perfect for challenging myself to go heavier with each workout. It's so fast to increase or decrease weight and the 2.5 increments are just right. I recommend also purchasing the stand. They take up about a two foot by 2 foot area. I did lot of research before asking my husband to purchase for my birthday. We looked at the PowerBlocks and other adustable weights. The Bowflex were a little pricier, but the reviews were better and I am so happy with my purchase. I highly recommend them!

I like that you use less space than tradition dumbbells and it is much quicker to change the amount of weight which is the obvious purpose for owning these. They are high quality and would absolutely recommend them. The only negative to them is you can quickly out grow them if you use them for chest and back exercises and they are i little bit bulky if you are doing flies or bench press type exercises where you would bring the dumbbells together. Perhaps if the weights were made of a heavier material you could make each plate a little smaller. I have never seen the heavier set so perhaps my issues have already been addressed with that. I am still very happy with mine and they are still useful for the smaller muscle workouts even if you cant benefit from them for chest exercises

The convenience of having 15 different sets of dumbbells stored in about 2 square feet is unmatched. I purchased these specifically for the P90X workout program and they have worked perfectly allowing me to always have the right weight for maximum results. My only complaint is that they sometimes get snagged in the base unless you take your time setting the dials to match up the arrows perfectly and make sure to lift straight up. I attribute this to a small amount of play in the dial instead of locking firmly into place. All in all, I've thoroughly enjoyed using this product and hope that it continues to hold up for years to come.
