This is my third set of dumbbells. I have the 552's and the 1090's at my home gym and now got these 552's for my gym at the shore house. I am a big fan of the Bowflex Selectech products and have had a very positive experience with them. They are a little bulky but that is to be expected if they are able to hold the max weights. The only thing I can even say as an area of improvement is the sturdiness of the product. It seems when they hit the ground with a little force not even a slam the clasps that hold the weights in place have a lot of give to them and once broke. However the return process was unbelievably efficient and friendly. No questions asked and a new one was sent. In conclusion. I would recommend this product.

The dumbbells are so easy to use. They come fully set up and all you need to do is turn the knobs on both sides and they become the weight you want. They're perfectly spaced so there's not sticking when changing weight. Love them.

I love the variety this product allows and I can do comfortable gradual weight progressions. I'm not stuck with only a couple of weights because I live in an apartment and don't have the space for a whole room of gym equipment. I love that I can go as light as five and up to 52 lbs I can use it for upper body as well as squats and lower body exercises And both I and my husband ( who is much stronger than me) can use these weights as a part of our different workout routines. Only problem is now we will be fighting over them :) LOL
