I really enjoy these SelecTech weights. Having owned multiple dumbbells was frustrating when trying to quickly find the right weight during workouts and awkward for space. SelecTech weights resolved these problems for me plus look quite stylish!

I mainly bought this for my husband to use with his P90X program, but I use it too when I want to increase my weights from 15 to 20's, but need a stepping block in the middle with 17.5 pounds. I do wish the dumbbells were a little smaller, as both my husband and I think that sometimes it is hard to get some exercises done with the size of these. Other than that, they are great! Size is the only reason I rated it as a 4 instead of a 5.

I've owned these dumbells for a little over a year, but just recently decided to stop looking for excuses to not work out. Although I won't try dumbell pullovers with these, they do support all other dumbell exercices that I use in my workout. I love the compact size and quick change capability. My only negative is my fear of breaking them. I don't have the comfort of knowing that if I push the limit all the way to failure, and need to drop them, that they won't break. All in all, I love them. They are helping me stay motivated for my workouts. Now in my late 40s, I can't lift the same weight I used to, and my shoulders require a lot of warming up. The range of the 552s are perfect for dowing some light lateral work to warm up the deltoids. I would recommend these to everyone that is not into hard core lifting.
