Weight change is very easy. Grip is good, fits well in my hand. Don't take up too much space. Highly recommend if you are tired of going to a busy gym and waiting on weights while some guys stand in front of them to flex in the mirror.

These are excellent for anyone in an apartment that doesn't want a dumbbell set sitting around. The most important thing for us was to have a small, portable dumbbell set that wasn't an eyesore, and these fit the bill. They work well and they feel sturdy even though the weights are adjustable. The problem is the dumbbells are large. If you're already lifting 25+ lbs, it probably doesn't make a huge difference for you. But for those 10-15 lb workouts, the dumbbell is twice as long as a standard, stand-alone 10-15 lb dumbbell. This is because the dumbbells are weight-adjustable, not size adjustable. As a small person, it does make it harder to do some exercises in which I should have my arms straight out from my shoulders in front of me, but doing so causes the dumbbells to knock in to each other. The second issue was the grip: super slippery. We bought grip tape which helps a lot. Otherwise, the grip is just textured metal which is slippery and especially difficult to use because the dumbbells are so long.
