I've had this set for a few years and love it, I purchased this set for my father for his birthday. I also bought the 10-90 set for myself as I use mostly freeweights instead of benching. The stand is also very nice to have.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Multifunctional, Targets Muscles
I was on the fence for a while about ordering these. When I finally did, I wish I had done it sooner. My girlfriend and I both use them, and its great because I can set them to my weight range (around 35 pounds), and she can immediately change to her weight range (around 15 pounds) and we can each work out at the same time, swapping between sets. It is a lot quicker to change weight settings than I anticipated, and I think it helps me to work out longer and more often, because I am not constantly inconvenienced changing out weights to do a different exercise while tired areas cool down. Great product; glad I purchased it.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Multifunctional, Targets Muscles, Versatile
The only negative point of this product is that more than 52.5 lbs is needed for a proper chest workout; however, I still manage just fine and if that's a concern to you there is a product that goes up to (I believe) 100 lbs. Otherwise, this set is great. I've saved myself a lot of time and money just by buying them a few months ago. No issues so far.
Pros: Compact, Convenient, Durable, Easy To Use
I would recommend this to a friend!

These dumbbells are pretty cool and do a great job but there is a downside. I've noticed a couple issues when doing P90x. These weights are a bit bulky and tend to hinder movement on a lot of different exercises. I have to do some improvising to be able to work with them. I've also noticed that when you swap lbs, the dumbbells tend to "stick" unless you have the knob absolutely perfectly in-line. That tends to get annoying when you are trying to keep up with the exercise program. Overall, I do like these weights. I like to think of them as my personal gym wrapped up in a 100 lb package. They are absolutely perfect for you run-of-the-mill bicep and shoulder workouts. I give these weights a 7/10 simply due to the bulkyness.
These are the best weights I have ever purchased. I bought some other free weights and I would always struggle with them. The smaller weights were fine but the bigger weights the grip was too big and hard for me to hold in my small hands. The grip on the select tech is always the same no matter what weight you choose and fit perfectly in my hands. I love them and I'm very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Multifunctional, Targets Muscles
This product represents a good value if it fits your needs well. It appears to be made of quality materials(mostly metal wrapped in plastic) and that it will hold up to years of responsible use. I've owned it for a little over a month now so I've had enough time to figure out what it does and doesn't do well. I've created a set of hour long workouts that I do 4 days a week. I am already seeing improvements in my strength. The pros are the quick adjustability, having a wide range of weights in one, and great resale value. The cons are that to a certain extent you are paying a premium for the Bowflex name, you are also paying a premium for the convenience of an adjustable dumbbell, in my opinion the most bothersome negative is the size of the dumbbells; they are too big which causes them to get in the way for some lifts causing the lifter to have to either adjust their technique or find a replacement lift that isn't affected by the (surprisingly)unwieldy weights. Another thing that really concerns me is that within the first week of use one side of my left dumbbell has started to not always lock into it's weight that I've set it to causing it to be stuck to the base unless I play with the adjustment knob a few times. I hope this will work itself out because it's very annoying, wastes my time and makes me worry if the other adjustment knobs will begin malfunctioning in the future. I'm not too worried though because I haven't heard of anyone else having quality problems with this product. Overall I would say that this is a good product that is worth buying if you have a need for it and are going to use it. Buying a weight set isn't going to do you any good if you don't use it and you aren't going to use it without a goals and a plan to reach those goals. Also, you need to feed your body right. Hope this review helped, have a nice day.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good resale value
Cons: Pricey / Poor Value, Too largegets in the way
