I use this product every day, and it meets the need of providing multiple/heavy weight options without the need for multiple sets of hand weights. Through my use, however, i have found that i still want hand weights for lower weight amounts, like 15, 20 and 25. The dimensions of these weights make them difficult to use for some movements, specifically those requiring rotation of your wrists (due to the momentum created by the length) and bringing weights close together (chest fly's, for example, due to the width). they are also tricky to hold for a goblet-squat (as an example) - the weight plate that rests on your hands depends on the weight you've selected, and is usually wider than a traditional weight.
