Overall these are a decent piece of home gym equipment that's compact, sturdy, effective and an overall good value. The one aspect that needs improvement however is that overall the length of each unit as far too long. This causes issues when doing exercises such as overhead presses, bench presses, curls etc where both weights are raised simultaneously. The excessive length of the units makes it impossible to achieve full range of motion without the weights touching each other prematurely. This flaw could be remedied by making the overall shaft of each dumbbell shorter and using a heavier plate material so that each plate takes up less space.
