These dumbbells are a more than welcome addition to our home gym. I threw the workout space together after the gyms closed down due to the Coronavirus and was only able to find a set of 15s and 10s. I did what I could while waiting for these to get back in stock. As soon as I got the notification they were back we purchased them almost immediately. The first use I got to lift heavy like in the gym and I was sore for the next three days! Felt like my gym rat days!
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
My husband has been holding a 8lb and 10lb weight in his hands for months and i finally decided with the Rona that we should get bigger weights for him. Of course normal hex weights are sold out everywhere, and these were too so when they finally came back i pulled the trigger. We were going to spend atleast $80 on the next size up which probably wouldn't have kept him happy very long so i thought the long term gain was worth the investment. They're a little longer than out other weights so its taken a little getting used to but they work great!
Nothing but good things to say about the Selecttech 552's. I do a upper-body dumbbell workout 3 times a week with weights ranging from 15 lbs to 50 lbs. Would need 6 different sets of dumbbells for that workout without the Selecttechs. Great feel and weight distribution. Changing weight is quick and easy, If you have a pair of these, a doorway pull-up bar and a good set of resistance bands, you can cancel your gym membership. We did. #sweepstakes
It allows me to do a full body work in a very tight space. My wife and I work our together and use different weight. It's so easy to switch settings that we don't even get a break. Highly recommended!
