I thought I knew what love was. I had a set of PowerBlock Elite adjustable dumbbells that I adored until they were stolen by some less-than-honest contractors. So I decided to get these SelectTech dumbbells because they looked like they would be great replacements. My world has been changed. Instead of pulling pins, swapping little weights, and wasting time between sets, I'm getting in more reps quicker and pushing myself way beyond where I could have with those other weights. They're so easy to adjust, so quick to get going, and SO much more comfortable. I love these weights so much I'm never having any work done to my house again to keep intruders from swiping them! At 65 years old, and confined to the home gym I've assembled over the last 40 years, I needed a dumbbell set with a full range of weight. I had four sets, but in a wide range of weight and some too heavy for my tired joints. The wait was worth it! Easy weight selection, they don't take up much room, and they look awesome. Life saver during this pandemic. Even though they feel sturdy, I wouldn't drop them like normal dumb bells. I've seen videos of people doing it and it makes me cringe. I've used them pretty much everyday for the past month and the only thing that worries me is wearing down the rubber grip. Aside from that particular and small detail, I can't really point out anything wrong with them. I was going to throw this review in anyways like I have for my other Bowflex products but got the email for the #sweepstakes and just thought it was win-win. Company is great.
