I use the dumbbells to enhance my training that I already do at the gym. It gives me the opportunity to train weak muscles or to get the shape in my body that I want. It is the perfect weight always with the adjustments that one can make with the dumbbells. When training it is not always about how much you lift, but getting a good pump with a weight that one can effectively handle without hurting yourself. My son is even using them to start on his exercise program, which he has never done in his life. So thank you bowflex for great products, and the value you provide with keeping us in shape. Love how easy the dumbbells are to use. Love how little storage room the dumbbells take up. I use the dumbbells to do curls, kick backs, flies, squats and presses and they work for all activities. Only down issue is I am a 5 foot woman and I purchased the smaller weighted set they are a little long because of the design. I have to adjust some movements because my arms are short and the length is longer then a standard dumbbell. I wish Bowflex made a ladies set that was less in weight because I will not use the upper weight on the dumbbells, also with less plates the length could be shorter. Overall I over the Bowflex dumbbells and look forward to year of use.
