I highly recommend a set for its durability and space saver capability. I purchased my first set in 2005 and used it for years doing P90X. I now use this 2005 set and a new 2020 set I purchased in 2020 for Peloton strength classes. Yes, you read that right. I've had this set since 2005. I have used it 4 to 5 times a week on average. I thought for sure the wear and tear effects would have reared its ugly head by now, but no. They still work as well as they did the first day. I purchased the second set recently and now have two sets to work with. Having the two sets helps with the Peloton classes which have no breaks in between sets.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Practical, Quiet, Space Saver, Strengthens
We signed up the the email wait list, ordered it finally and waited patiently for it to arrive. The 6 months from initially signing up for the waitlist to the delivery was worth it. When it arrived, it was easy to set up and use. We have been using it every day since. It has helped us stay sane during Covid. The only challenge was getting a hold of a representative. I was interested in changing my address (I had moved since I placed the order) but all the representatives were busy and it was suggested I call them at 6am PST when phone lines are less busy. I was hoping to speak with someone not at the crack of dawn, but I did get a hold of someone at that time.
I'm not a power lifter, but I have been strength training using decently heavy weights for years. COVID ruined my gym routine and the elastic bands that were readily available weren't cutting it. But my house isn't big enough for a full dumbbell set. I read some reviews and took a chance on these. I've only had them for a couple weeks, so can't speak to longevity, but so far, they're glorious. The weight to space ratio is great, and while they're not going to help my squat or deadlift game, they're perfect for upper body training and, frankly, for at least helping me maintain some lower body strength beyond just using body weights. As far as mechanics, they're easy and obvious to use, but also come with good directions. The only con is that they are bulkier than normal dumbbells which can make some exercises a little awkward, but not to the point of actually hurting my form. Overall, a great investment.

These are awesome. I was always skeptical of this concept but, that was pre-COVID. Once my Gym disappeared never to come back I needed options. So did everyone else. Our home is not large and I refuse to convert the garage into a gym so I needed something compact and versatile, and that is what these are. A wide range of weights in one package. Drop them back into the holder, turn the dials on either end to the weight you want and go. So simple.

I was so excited when my dumbbells arrived. I love the fact that the weights are all in one. It is so easy to adjust the weight of the dumbbells. The handles are comfortable. They are very sturdy. A must for anyone wanting to build their muscles, get stronger and healthier.
